Just what we were looking for! My daughter and I found this lovely little restaurant after trawling through Tripadvisor and decided to give it a go. On our arrival we were given a very friendly and attentive welcome and this service, from both the waiter and waitress remained the same throughout the evening. We ordered mains and desserts which were all well cooked and delicious, just what we were looking for! Well done for being open on a Tuesday, many of your competitors aren’t! And keep up the good work.Daisesp10/06/2019
Modern a la carte - a good find Modern but comfortable decor, good drinks selection, good menu choices, meals a good size, well presented, very tasty. Slow cooked lamb shoulder was great. Cider marinated pork a little bland. £55 for two mains and a bottle of wine.blinkybm8/16/2019

Lovely meal After a month of eating out every night finding a memorable meal can be difficult. But Pendletons gave us the perfect dinner. We both had hake, which came with innovative and plentiful accompanying vegetables. And our dessert of poached pear with blackberry drizzle was delicious. Service was smart, assured and friendly and we were very happy diners. The restaurant decor is modern and seating comfortable.Katieclem467/23/2019

A Smart Restaurant We visited this restaurant on the last night of of recent trip to the IOW. We certainly left the best to last. We were well served with just the right amount of attention. The food was delicious and well presented. We had the catch of the day.JackyD39/22/2019
Wonderful meal and service Our guide had reccomended Morgans to us and I am glad we took his advice. The place was only a few minutes walk from our B&B. Great meal of wild trout on a bed of Ventnor Bay Crab. The place was clean and neat. Great menu selection and quick friendly service.DQShaw11/05/2019
Wish we had found it sooner ! I think we must have walked past Pendletons a few times without knowing it was open. But in the last night of our stay we pushed open the door and were pleasantly surprised. Relaxed atmosphere and excellent food. Better than a few of the more busy establishments around. But perhaps that’s their secret ? They don’t need to push the restaurant, people just come back for more after eating there once.Highly recommended.Richmond688/04/2019
Lovely evening meal with my grown up son and daughter. Really sad to read some of these reviews 🙁 As a local business owner I can say this is still one of the best places to eat on the Island ! I recommend to my own customers on a daily basis 🙂 Our family enjoyed three different meals the two pasta dishes were excellent and I had duck which was really nice ( I am a fussy eater not easily pleased ) We had not planned to have desserts but they were excellent too ! and proper coffee to finish ! Thank you Tim59Lorraine7/27/2019

A delightful Lunch Stopped for Lunch in the newly named ‘Coast’. I can’t remember what it was called before, but they have changed the old ‘50’s Style’ interior to be more modern and simpler. We sat outside on the top decking, in the Sun, overlooking over the Sea, and we had a simply delightful time. The seating, comfort, service, cleanliness were all up to the mark, and you would have to search for a long time in the UK to do better.I have to say that my ‘Ribs’ were an adequate dish rather than being noteworthy. However to be where we were you have to expect to pay a premium on the prices, and as such I mark the food as reasonable, all things considered. All in all, a great time was had and I would not hesitate to visit again (noting that all the Island hostelries do vary on a day to day basis so an element of luck is required).Maxcaddy8/12/2019
Dinner You know what it’s like, you see the board outside that says ‘Steak night at the Coast. Two 10oz sirloin steaks and a bottle of wine for £35, and you think that sounds good. So you go in and sit down at the Formica table and you begin to wonder if you have made a mistake, especially when you see the tiny galvanised bucket with bendy tin forks and sachets ofcondiments. Then the wine arrives, a very acceptable Chilean Merlot, followed by a standard white oval plate with the steak, chips, mushrooms, tomatoes and onion rings. Well, I have never had a tastier or better cooked steak, beautifully pink all the way through, thoroughly seasoned and delicious to the last moist mouthful. Oh, and the waiting staff were friendly and helpful too. I will definitely come back on my next trip to the Island.Elizabeth S9/06/2019
Fantastic As Always Guys! Service and Food! Well what can i say? This is a local place for myself and my wife to visit. Never had a bad meal or anything negative to say about this Golden Gem of a Restaurant. As soon as you walk in your greeted by a smiling Louise who welcomes you like your a close friend and makes you feel special as soon as you walk through the door. The rest of the team are also very friendly and welcoming and very efficient when taking the order and making sure you have everything you need. The food is fantastic and I know recently they have changed chefs but the food still cant be faulted and is a high standard. I highly recommend this place and cant praise both the front of house staff and the food enough. A real big shout out to Louise who just adds an extra enjoyment to the place with always being alert and welcoming. Also who doesn't like looking over a fantastic view while they eat? You cant beat looking at the sea. If your visiting Sandown sea front pop in here and meet the team! You wont be disappointed. Lee Ryder & Candice RyderLeeR15909/12/2019
Small restaurant, good menu, good service Visited this restaurant last week for a family meal on a short break to IOW. Although the menu is not extensive there is something to suit everyone. The service was very good , nice and polite people , and the food was very good. It’s a small restaurant so book ahead to make sure of a tablemandy111895/29/2019
